about.
Used climbing ropes destined for a landfill can still serve a purpose. Looking at all the climbing ropes sadly retired after catching climbers from whips and ground-falls, I decided to give them new life in mural and rope designs so they can continue to be appreciated. I design my pieces to pay homage to fantastic outdoor spaces; places where climbers and outdoor enthusiasts feel exhilaration and fear. All fabric is sourced from local, small shops in Maine and frames and materials sourced second-hand.
